About annie adamczak academy

Annie Adamczak-Glavan redefined dominance in high school athletics in Minnesota during her career at Moose Lake. She won five state titles in basketball, volleyball and softball., making it to the state tournament ten times. During the 1981-82 school year she didn't lose a game — in any sport.

She was one of the first beneficiaries of Title IX and received a full athletic scholarship to play volleyball at Nebraska where she was an All-American. She continued playing professional volleyball in Germany and for the Minnesota Monarchs before diving into coaching full time.

If you search nearly any athletic hall of fame in Minnesota, Annie is likely apart of it including the Minnesota Sports Hall of Fame, the MSHSL Hall of Fame and the DECC Hall of Fame to name a few.

Continuing the success

What started with a few players and coaches, has grown into a regional powerhouse and will continue as Annie Adamczak Academy, a female-led volleyball club, providing the same great programming, coaching philosophy, development, mentoring, and fun gym culture to develop great athletes and even better people.

Annie began coaching right after finishing her playing career running Annie Adamczak Volleyball Camps across the state of Minnesota.

In 2008, Annie founded CLUB 43 Volleyball in Hopkins to give her daughters a place to play club volleyball. Through Annie’s leadership and dedication, CLUB 43 grew its reputation to be on the highest level of volleyball instruction in the Midwest. In 2014, Annie led her 151 team to a 3rd place finish at USAV Nationals in Minneapolis and that success helped propel her programs to the next level.

In 2016, her 171 team won the JVA World Champion in Kansas City, finished 3rd at the prestigious SPVB President's Day Challenge and finished 5th overall at AAU Nationals in Orlando. In 2017, she expanded her programs by adding Little Diggers, positional training, camps, and summer teams to become a complete year around competitive volleyball club and by 2019, the club was a reputable college recruiting club know for developing strong, fundamentally sound players who can play at the next level.

In 2026, her 151 team finished 3rd at AAU Nationals in Orlando, the first top 3 finish in club history.
